You will use the hourly predicted height table to create a graph in MS Excel over the first three day period.
Creating the graph: Select XY Scatter for graph type, enter a title( the title should include answers to What? When? and Where?)
, label axes with units. Remove the legend. Once the graph is finished, right click on a data point, select "Format Data Series", choose Patterns tab and add a line to connect the points. Copy the graphs as images into a word document. Answers the following questions in the word document.
Answer these questions in your Word Document:
1. How many times in a 24 hour period does high tide occur?
2. How many times in a 24 hour period does low tide occur?
3. What is the maximum tide height in Richibucto?
4. What is the maximum tide height in Cape Enrage?
5. Read page 354 in text and explain why there is such a dramatic difference in high tide heights.
6. Copy the graph below into Smart notebook.
